Louisiana Spice is not only a band...

Performing since 1996, this ensemble was created based on a foundation of love for music and entertaining. The members of Louisiana Spice have a synergistic chemistry that is mirrored in their show through their unique style and sound. With an energy that is sure to move anyone onto the dance floor, Louisiana Spice offers a mix of music that includes Big Band Swing, Motown, R&B, Rock & Roll, 70's and 80's to current dance music. Their powerful horn section contributes big band sound along with a full rhythm section and three lead vocalists they are sure to get the crowd on their feet.


	Doug Mayeaux Lead Vocals Musical Influences: Sanjaya (My Idol) and William Hung... Professional Experience: Most recently backup singer for Sanjaya and William Hung's rendition of She Bangs.

Betty Castille Lead Vocals Musical Influences: Barbara Streisand, Ann Wilson/Heart, Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Newton John, Mariah Carey, Karen Carpenter, Anita Baker, Carly Simon, Whitney Houston, Janis Joplin, Journey, the entire 70's decade - too many to name... Professional Experience: Singing since I could speak; Lead vocalist in bands since 1991; Singing in competitions since 1987; Have worked with: The Rafters, Ka-Nection Band, Bobby Cure, ForeCast, No Left Turn, and many others around the world.

Chelle' Maxwell Lead Vocals Musical Influences: R&B, Rock, and Country music. Professional Experience: Many different bands and clubs on Bourbon Street and several local bands in the Greater New Orleans area.


	Thomas Calmes Lead & Rhythm Guitar Musical Influences: Edward Calmes,Lucille Codifer Calmes, Michelle Calmes,Chantelle Calmes. Professional Experience: LIFE !!

John Coscino Drums & Percussion Musical Influences: My musical influences are my father, Martin Coscino, who played sax in a local group called The Saxons. My uncle, Mike Coscino, who was a drummer for another group called The Spades. My high school drum teacher, Marty Hurley, among others. Professional Experience: I started with a local favorite, Rockin' Jerry and the Spice of Life Band, and was their drummer for over eight years. Went on to play with other local bands for several years before landing with Louisiana Spice.

	Irvin Lassalle Guitar & Vocals Musical Influences: Beatles, Chicago, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Z.Z. Top, Sam & Dave, Aerosmith ... Professional Experience: Various bands since high school. Vocals, Keyboards, Guitars, Bass.

Wally McDaniel Keyboards & Vocals Musical Influences: Allan Tousaint, The Meters, Dr. John, Elton John,Prof. Longhair, etc. Professional Experience: The Last Nickle, Chicory, River Road, Lenny Mc Daniel & Co., Richey Havens, New Blood, Sneeker, Breeze, Zig & Co., Soul Finger,Broadcast, The Jesters, Louisiana Spice.

	Chris Rigamer Bass Musical Influences: Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, George Porter Jr., Ray Brown, Ron Carter ... Professional Experience: Trumpet and Bass in various bands and recording projects

Ricky Knight Saxophones Musical Influences: Eric Alexander, Ricky Woodard, Charlie Parker, Eric Marienthal, Joshua Redman Professional Experience: Has played the Sax since 2000. Was a professional trumpet player for dance and wedding bands since 1979.

	Jerry Palisi Trumpet & Flügelhorn Musical Influences: Don Ho, Don Rickles and Don Knotts Professional Experience: Played Kazoo, Whistle, and the Pu(Conch Shell) for many years.
